Consignment Application
If direct buyout isn't quite right for you, try consignment instead! With consignment, you might wait longer for a sale, but we will be able to offer a larger payout than we would with direct buyout.
How it works:
Fill out the form below, submit it, and once we review the information you provided we will generate an estimated sale price and consignment rate for your item. The estimated sale price is based on research of the current market value. You will have ten days to review the estimated sale price before it expires. If you are not satisfied with the quote, no problem, you can simply refuse the quote. If you are satisfied with the quote and want to consign the item with us, accept the quote and follow the steps to purchase a shipping label. The cost of the shipping label will be reimbursed to you once we receive the item and it passes inspection. Then, just send us the item! Please pack the item up very carefully to ensure it arrives safely.
Once the item arrives at our headquarters, we will inspect it and give you our most accurate sale price. All items are filmed while they are unboxed and inspected for the protection of both parties. Please note the estimate sale price is based solely on the photos and information submitted in the form. If the item sent to us does not match what was represented in the form, we can no longer offer you the quoted amount and will make an appropriate estimation based on the actual item in hand.
The item will then be photographed, listed, and safely stored as it awaits its sale. You can request the item back at any time for a $15 packaging fee plus shipping costs.
You will be payed after an item sells and the return window has closed, Since we offer 14 day returns, payment will be issued after that period has elapsed. Once the return window has closed, we will pay you via PayPal, check, or site credit. Any disputes will be handled by ÉPROUVÉE and we will make sure you receive payment first and foremost should any issues arise with the buyer of your item.
If an item is returned by the buyer of your item in within the allotted return window and is in the condition identical to how it was sent out, the item will be reposted on the website and will be treated as a new item.
The Fine Print:
- All consignment pieces are subject to markdowns as ÉPROUVÉE sees fit. Once an item has been listed for two months, it will be marked down by 15%. Every additional month it does not sell will result in an additional 10% markdown.
- The consignment rate offered will be paid out based on the actual sale price, not the estimated sale price given after the form is submitted.
- The packaging and unpacking of all items will be fully recorded for the protection of all parties.
